It all started two years ago when I decided to hand-over part of our back garden to wildlife. We tried to grow vegetables on this dry and stony soil for many years but it was hard work and in the end I decided that it would be much better to let nature take over with some extra encouragement from us.

Two years on and we are reaping the rewards for our efforts and I am proud to say that our garden is now a hive of activity for birds, butterflies, bees, insect, hedgehogs, frogs and anything else that cares to seek food and refuge within our garden walls.

Perfect for the 30daywild challenge!
